Hi, I am Audina M. Berrocal, MD, FASRS. I’m the program chair of the ASRS meeting this summer in Montreal.
It’s very exciting to be in Montreal. As you all know, it’s a beautiful city, and during the summer, it’s really spectacular. Not only that, but our program is going to be full of surgical sessions, which will be very exciting for all of us. We’re going to start, just as last year, with Retina Surgery Around the Globe, where we’re going to highlight international surgeons from all over the world. That’s going to be Wednesday, and that is always exciting. The cases are always really interesting.
And then on that same day in the afternoon, we’re going to start with the Circus of Complications. This is a new session, and we’re going to see young surgeons talk about complications, which is also very exciting.
We’re going to have real-world symposiums, there’s going to be a lot of focus on AMD, as you can imagine, but most of all, don’t forget, the activities are going to be spectacular. I’m making sure that everything else, not only in the meeting, but everything else, social, will be really exciting.
I promise you, it will be an unforgettable meeting, so I hope to see you there. Thank you. RP
